Pope Francis En Route To Ecuador

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis is en route to Ecuador, the first stage of a three-country tour in Latin America that will also see him in Bolivia and Paraguay – three “sister nations” as the Holy Father described them in the video message broadcast in the three countries simultaneously ahead of the visit. The Holy Father’s flight departed Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport (Fiumicino) shortly after 9:30 AM Rome Time on Sunday morning, and is scheduled to last 13 hours.

Two years have passed since the Pope’s trip to Rio de Janeiro for World Youth Day in 2013. Now, Pope Francis returns to South America for his 9th international voyage. “I want to be a witness to the joy of the Gospel,” said the Holy Father ahead of his departure, expressing the desire to bring the tenderness of God to those most in need of it: children, the elderly, the sick, prisoners, the poor, indeed every victim of this “throw-away culture.”

The itinerary includes more than 24 thousand kilometers of travel over the course of the week, along with radical changes in altitude and temperature as well: in just seven days Pope Francis will experience temperatures ranging from 3° to 40° Centigrade, and altitudes from sea level to over 4 thousand meters, as he travels from the Atlantic to the Andes and in between.

Pope Francis is to spend 48 hours in each country, with each individual leg of the journey including events such as an audience with each President, a “sit-down” with the bishops, an encounter with civil society representatives, and a meeting with men and women religious.

Each country also has scheduled special events and visits: to a home for the aged run by the Sisters of Mother Teresa in Ecuador; a prison (one of the largest in Latin America) and a meeting with members of the World Meeting of Popular Movements in Bolivia; a children’s hospital and a slum area in Paraguay.

There is a Marian key to the voyage, as well: Pope Francis is to pray before the “Virgen Dolorosa” in Quito and before another major shrine to Our Lady 40 km from Asuncion.

Underlying all, however, is the twofold theme of the joy of the Gospel, and reconciliation and renewal.

Space Fantasy #32: Mars Perchlorates Kills Bacteria Bacillus Subtilis.....

Mars surface 'more uninhabitable' than thought: study Hopes of finding life on Mars, at least on the surface, were dealt a blow Thursday by a study revealing that salt minerals present on the Red Planet kill bacteria. In lab tests on Earth, the compounds known as perchlorates killed cultures of the bacteria Bacillus subtilis, a basic life form, a research duo from the University of Edinburgh's School of Physics and Astronomy reported. Perchlorates, stable at room temperature, become active at high heat. Mars is very cold. In the new study, Jennifer Wadsworth and Charles Cockell showed the compound can also be activated by UV light, without heat, in conditions mimicking those on the martian surface. It killed bacteria within minutes, said the team, implying the planet was "more uninhabitable than previously thought." Source>>>>>

DOOM Averted! American Airlines Employee Stops Fuel Truck From Plowing Into A Plane Filled With People!

Airline employee stops rolling truck, averts disaster  An American Airlines employee is being called a hero for his fast thinking. Surveillance video from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport shows a man jump into a rolling fueling truck. He stepped on the brakes to avoid a crash and likely a huge explosion. The serious accident was avoided, thanks to longtime American Airlines employee Darren Carbone. He was helping guide a plane back away from the gate at Concourse C when he noticed the runaway truck headed towards other planes. According to the airline, the truck was rolling backwards on the tarmac Tuesday without a driver until Carbone literally sprang into action. “A fuel truck is basically a bomb. It's got a tank in the back with thousands of gallons of gasoline, very volatile,” Source

"You're Gonna Die Up There" JULY 2017: Pilot Talks About 'Weather Phenomenon,' Then Plane Drops Off Radar, Killing 6

Voices will be heard in the air. Men will beat their heads against walls, call for their death, and on another side death will be their torment. Blood will flow on all sides. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

The darksome atmosphere is as a prison to the demons until the judgment day. They carry fire of hell with them wherever they go. The devils besought the Lord not to cast them into the abyss; for they asked for this, deeming it to be a punishment for them to be cast out of a place where they could injure men. Hence it is stated,They besought Him that He would not expel them out of the country. St Thomas Aquinas
